The Bearkats made a game of it late, but Texas-Arlington wasn’t going to let it slip away.

Led by Robby Winn who went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in, Texas-Arlington survived a 55-minute rain delay and a three-run ninth inning rally by Sam Houston State to hang on to a 7-6 Southland Conference baseball victory at Clay Gould Park on Saturday.
