Last Wednesday at Southwyck Golf Course in Pearland, the Alpha Omega Academy boys took second place at the South Regional tournament to advance for the TAPPS Class 2A State championship that will be held at Stonetree Golf Course in Killeen on April 28 and 29.

Hornets junior Chandler Phillips had another solid day on the course at Raven Nest Golf Club. He was able to hold off other hard-charging players and ended up winning the Huntsville Boys Fall Classic individual medalist championship.
