Returning to the U.S., they lived in Arkansas and Arizona and continued to travel making an around-the-world “sidepacking” trip for another year as well as a year in the South Pacific and Southeast Asia. When not on the road, they were both active in theater work and she continued to paint and write. Her art work can be found in homes from the east to west coast. After an absence of 30 years, the couple moved back to Huntsville in 2000, and continued their travels. However, a little less “roughly” than previously, as well as acting and directing for the Huntsville Community Theatre.
