Burglars made off with two wallets after a vehicle was broken into at a Huntsville apartment complex Wednesday morning.

Police say several items were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Pines Apartments in the 2400 block of Lake Road, police say. The vehicle was unlocked and the suspect allegedly took with two women’s wallets, a credit card, a social security card, an insurance card and a driver’s license.

“It is always a good idea to ensure your vehicle is locked,” HPD Lt. Curt Landrum said. “We are actively investigating the case and looking for the suspect.

No suspect has been identified at this time.
