CONROE — Authorities have identified a deceased body found floating in Lake Conroe on Tuesday as that of an 84-year-old Spring man.
The man was identified as Leo D. Tullier.
Witnesses in the White Oak Subdivision advised authorities that around mid-morning they observed a white male anchoring his boat to the area. According to authorities, witnesses further stated that periodically throughout the day, the gentleman would be either on the boat or in the water.
Around 4:30 p.m., witnesses observed the man floating face down in the water. Montgomery County Justice of the Peace Mack was called to the scene and ordered an autopsy. Authorities stated that the investigation is continuing, and the cause of death has not yet been determined. Three did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances in the death.
