HUNTSVILLE TENNIS — Livingston falls at regional tourney

HUNTSVILLE — After finishing second in boys singles at the District 18-4A tournament earlier this month at Walden Racquet Club in Montgomery, Chandler Livingston had a chance to make his mark and advance to the state tournament.

Livingston got out to a strong start, winning his first match 7-6, 1-6, 6-3 against the No. 3 seeded player from Texas City.

He couldn’t keep his run going and fell to the eventual fourth-place finisher out of Summer Creek 6-2, 6-2.

“He competed well against some of the top players in our region and represented Huntsville well,” Huntsville tennis coach John Fuller said.
