New Waverly’s Tyren Watts looks for some running room in the Bulldogs’ Region III semifinal game against eventual state champion Daingerfield. After helping lead New Waverly to an undefeated regular season and an outright district title, Watts was named MVP in District 26-2A and selected to the all-state second team.
