Johnnie Mae Dockery

Johnnie Mae Dockery, of Huntsville, previously of Medina, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, in Huntsville. She was 83 years old.

Born Sept. 9, 1926, in Youngsport to Charles Robert and Sadie Boyd, she was a lifetime baptist and member of the First Baptist Church of Medina. She loved to play the piano and 42. She also served as a Girl Scout leader.

She is survived by a son and his wife Bob and Evelyn Castelberry of Lufkin; two daughters, Diane Adair of Huntsville and Sandy Baker and her husband Chris of Bandera; and brother, Bobby Joe Boyd of Granger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton; and her parents.

Memorial services will be held Feb. 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Brooke Funeral Home Chapel.
