Tracy Yvette Tubbs passed away suddenly on May 17, 2012, in Conroe. She was 35. She was born on July 3, 1976, to Vautry “Jack” Tubbs and Darlene Kelly Tubbs in Houston. Tracy, who was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Nicole Tubbs-Brazzel, is survived by her mother, Darlene Tubbs; sister, Terry (Melvin) Carter of College Station; maternal grandmother, Margaret Kelly of Huntsville, Texas; aunts, Dollan (Jessie) Nickens of Houston, Texas, Patricia (James) Oliphant, Luvenia Stubblefield and Elnora Holloman, all of Huntsville, Texas; uncles, Annual (Marilyn) Kelly of Houston, Texas and Otha (Cheryl) Tubbs of Dallas, Texas; niece, Tyera Y. Tubbs of Huntsville, Texas; nephews, Myles Carter of College Station, Texas, Melvin Walker and Kelvin Walker of Huntsville, Texas; great-nephew, Jammale Johnson Jr.; great-niece, Danniti Tubbs, all of Huntsville, Texas; god-mother, Johnnie Manning of Houston, Texas; best friend, Tonia White of Crockett, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be today at 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Tracy’s homegoing services will be on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 11 a.m. at True Vine Baptist Church, located at 1254 Old Phelps Road, Huntsville. Pastor Melvin Sykes will officiate. Burial will immediately follow in the Brooke Cemetery.
