Bobby Ray Howard

Bobby Ray Howard, known to many as “Bobcat” traded his earthly home for his heavenly home on Christmas Eve at Memorial Hermann Hospital, in The Woodlands, TX. Bobby was 50 years old. He was born on November 6, 1963 in Huntsville, TX. Bobby leaves to cherish memories with the love of his life Sheritta Carter, sons: Bernard Ferguson (Tamikah); of Beaumont, TX., Bobby Howard, Jr. (Breanna) and Quen’Draylon Howard; both of Dallas, TX., step children: Shedrick Jenkins, Jr. and Ammya Carter; both of Huntsville, TX., mother: Toni McGuire (Earl); of Huntsville, TX., father: L.C. Johnson; of Huntsville, TX., dad: L.B. James; of Huntsville, TX., brothers: David James, Tommy James, and Billy James; all of Huntsville, TX., sisters: Twerla James, Cheryl Johnson, Margaret Johnson, and Emily James; all of Huntsville, TX, and Bridgette Rodgers (Fredrick); of Spring, TX., seven grandchildren, and a host of additional relatives and friends. On Friday January 3, 2014, 11:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. viewing will be held at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 4, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at Unity of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, where Rev. Eldridge McAdams is the pastor. The body will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will immediately follow in the Northside Cemetery in Huntsville.
