Mary Jo McCarty Simpson

Mary Jo McCarty Simpson of Riverside, Texas, entered into rest on Sept. 2, 2008.

She is survived by her husband, James Simpson; her mother, Mary Ann McCarty; two daughters, Cynthia Rea Harmel and Lisa Renee Decker; a sister, Jeanette Dollar and husband Sonny; brothers, Don McCarty and wife Linda, Paul McCarty and James McCarty; grandchildren, Tony, Adam, Taylor, Daniel, William and Chris; great-grandchild, Anthony Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Jody McCarty.

Services are set for Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. in the Huntsville Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Hempstead Cemetery at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 5, from 6-8 p.m.

Services are under the direction of Huntsville Funeral Home.
