James Robert Butler

James Robert Butler, 64, of Huntsville, Texas, passed away, Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, in Conroe, Texas. He was born Dec. 4, 1943 in Harrisburg, Pa., to James R. and Beatrice Scott Butler. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Amelia Butler of Huntsville, two brothers, a very special friend Audrey Ragusa, and many other family and friends and his two cats Sam and Samantha. He worked over 22 years for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, serving for Ferguson and the Holiday units during his career.

Visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at the Brooke Funeral Home.

Chapel Services will be Monday, Aug. 18, 2008. at 10 a.m. at the Brooke Funeral Home Chapel with Interment with TDCJ Honors to follow at Brooke Cemetery.
