— Mr. Derrick Grant Hamilton Jr., 61, of Walker County passed away May 10, 2008, in Huntsville. He was born Nov. 19, 1946, in Los Angeles, Calif.
A memorial service will be held today, Saturday, May 17, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 1891 Hwy 30 East. Mr. Hamilton was a devoted Witness of Jehovah and was employed for more than 30 years with Coca Cola.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Paulette Hamilton of Huntsville; three sons, Jason Hamilton of Huntsville, Brian Hamilton of Los Angeles, Calif., and Steveland Hamilton of Tusla, Okla; daughter, Delana Hamilton of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two brothers, Jonathan Hamilton of Carson, Calif. and David Hamilton of Olatha, Kan.; three sisters, Betty Hester and Susan Glover, both of Long Beach, Calif., and Pam Calcote of El Monte, Calif.; six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
