Leeroy Williams Sr.

On June 2, 1936, in Caldwell, Texas, (Burleson County), Prince Williams and Lillie McBride Williams were blessed with their second child, a boy. They named him Leeroy Williams. He was baptized at an early age and united with the Shilo Baptist Church. He received his public education in the Caldwell school district. He was employed as a truck driver and retired as Supervisor of Shipping and Receiving at Sears.

Mr. Williams is survived by sons, Lee Roy Williams of Huntsville and Elroy Wiliams of Cleburne; and daughter, Katie M. Johnson of Huntsville. He departed this life on Saturday, May 3, 2008.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Unity of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 336 Watkins, Huntsville. The Rev. Obie Rolling Jr., Pastor and the Rev. Roland Craig Oliphant, officiating.
