Debra D. Newsome

Ms. Debra D. Newsome, 57, of Coldspring passed away May 7, 2008, in San Jacinto County. She was born March 15, 1951, in Harris County.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at noon with the Rev. Luther Bookman officiating. Burial will follow in the Coldspring Community Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Ms. Newsome is survived by her mother Mildred Newsome; two sons, Leslie Ray Newsome and Christopher Newsome; one daughter, Chanin Newsome; two brothers, Leroy Newsome Jr. and Lawrence Ray Newsome, all of Coldspring; two sisters, Janice Woods and Erma Giles, both of Houston; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
