Sallee-Baker Wedding

Hailey Lane Sallee and Nicholas (Nick) Baker celebrated their marriage, the evening of Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at the Trinity Baptist Church in Norman, Okla. Minister Dick Jaques performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Rhonda Sallee of Preston, Okla. Grandparents are Tom and Mary Ellen Sallee of Lamar, Colo. and Melvin and Velda Satterfield of Kinta, Oklahoma.

The groom is the son of Mike and Lana Coleman of Farmersville, Texas, and Terry and Cecilia Baker of Madisonville, Texas. Grandparents are Mary Coburn of Farmersville, Texas and Opal Baker of Madisonville, Texas.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless mermaid gown adorned with pearls designed by Alvina Valenta. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Paige Sallee, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were, Carissa Ashworth, sister of the groom, Kimberly Jackson, Emily Jaques, Beca Bushyhead, Beth Powell, Mary Powell, and Felicia Schwake, all friends of the bride. All wore champagne strapless gowns with a chocolate brown satin sash. Each wore a pearl necklace, a gift from the bride.

The flower girl was Maycie Jones, friend of the bride. Wesley Ashworth, nephew of the groom served as ring bearer.

The groom wore a chocolate brown tuxedo. The best man was Matthew Aston, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jason Ashworth, brother-in-law of the groom, Terrel Fish, James Cannon, Matthew DeLouise, Jerome Bennett, Chris Young, and Tal Feagins, all friends of the groom.

Serving as ushers were, Adam Solis, Grant Massey, Thad Lanthripe, and Nathan Presley. Serving in the house party were, Courtney Aston, Kristy Tedford, Brittany Young, and Lauren Cottle, friends of the bride and groom. Violin music was provided by Petrina Harvey and Robert Hwang.

Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the bride's parents at the Cobblestone Creek Country Club.

The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Charleston's Restaurant on the eve of the wedding.

Hailey is a 2004 graduate of Preston High School, Preston, Okla. and is currently enrolled in the University of Oklahoma Dental Hygiene School.

Nicholas is a 2004 graduate of Farmersville High School, Farmersville, Texas and a December, 2007 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a business finance degree. He is employed with the Federal Reserve in Oklahoma City,Oklahoma as a Bank Auditor. Nicholas is also a former resident of Huntsville, Texas.

Following the honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple have made their home in Norman, Oklahoma.
