Cording 50th Annversary

— In honor of the love their parents have shared, the children and grandchildren of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Cording honored them with a 50th wedding anniversary celebration on Saturday, April 21, 2007. The celebration was held at the Elkins Lake Clubhouse. They were married at the First Presbyterian Church in Wallace, North Carolina on April 21, 1957. Their children are Mr. and Mrs. Rick Burns (Lisa), Mr. and Mrs. John Gaines (Sheri), Mr. and Mrs. Nelson E. Cox (Jennifer). Their grandchildren are Cord and Colby Burns, Savannah, Sarah Frances, and Stratton Gaines, Trey and Tristynn Cox and Braedon Smith.
