Amber Beth Gedelian and William Newton Cobb Jr. were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at the Laura Chapel in Huntsville, Texas. Beth Williamson officiated. The bride wore an ivory chiffon side ruched tiered dress with brooch detail.
The bride is the daughter of Pam Johnson and Brian Gedelian of Huntsville. The groom is the son of William Newton Cobb Sr. of Conroe and Susan Cobb of McKinney.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her stepfather J. James Johnson Jr.. Brendan Gathright, son of the bride, served as ring bearer. James Johnson and Melissa Templeton-Mahaffey sang a duet "The Wedding Song (There is Love)".
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Huntsville High School and 2004 graduate of Sam Houston State University. She is currently a math teacher at Peet Junior High in Conroe. The groom is a 2001 graduate of Conroe Christian School. He spent five years in the Marines, including three tours to Iraq. He is currently self-employed as a welder.
After a honeymoon in Galveston, the couple is residing in Conroe.
