As the final seconds tick off the clock, the Bearkats savor a 72-51 victory to share first place with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Sam Houston State held the Islanders to 38 percent shooting — the first conference team to hold Corpus Christi to less than 40 percent.

The Kats will go on a two-game road swing, playing at Texas-San Antonio on Wednesday and at Central Arkansas next Saturday.
